WIC

Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infant and Children

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides federal grants to states for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age 5.

Sr FMNP

Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program

The Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA) serves as the lead agency for Sr FMNP. Seniors are provided with $48 in checks to purchase fresh, unprocessed, locally grown fruits, honey, vegetables and herbs at State-approved farmers' markets."

Kids Carrot Cash

Vouchers given to children to shop for farm fresh foods at the RRGFM. This program will run periodically throughout the market season as funds are available. This program is funded through market donations and fundraisers.
